Soil:
Mainly clayey, though also containing blue marl and tufa.
Ovest position - 300 m. in the sea- level

100% Barbera d'Alba grapes
Age of the vines: 30 years
Vinification:
Traditional methods in steel tanks
Agein:
It is aged for six months in Slavonian oak casks, and then
matures
for a further six months in the bottle .
Production:
10.000 bottles for year
Tasting notes:
Deep ruby-red colur with garnet highlights is followed
by a characteristically powerful bouquet,while its dry,
well-bodied flavour shows marked, attractive acidity,
which softens on ageing to a full, harmonious taste.
It is best served with white and red meats,tagliatelle pasta
and cheeses
